Arriflex 535A

The 535A sync sound camera operates at preset speeds of 24, 25, 29.97, and 30 fps and is also capable of speeds from 3 to 50 fps, forward and reverse. The camera is equipped with a programmable electronic variable shutter adjustable from 11 to 180 degrees, a swingover viewfinder, and Arriglow. The 535A camera has time code capabilities and permits frame rate and shutter angle changes while running. The camera can be set up for regular or Super 35.

Aaton 35-III

The 35-III sync sound camera is one of the smallest and lightest hand held 35mm cameras available, weighing only 18 lbs with a 400’ load, prime lens and battery. The camera is capable of 3 to 40 fps with a built-in speed control. It has a 4 stage shutter 180, 172.8, 150 and 144 degrees, Aatonite illuminated ground glass and swing over viewfinder. The ergonomically designed magazines are set up for quick change out. The parallel attachment ports at the top and bottom of the camera allow it to be mounted on a Steadicam in a matter of minutes. The Panasonic AG-HVX200 is a handheld DVCPRO HD P2 camera-recorder designed to meet emerging needs in HD content production. It debuted as Panasonic's first HD video product to use P2, the cutting-edge solid state memory recording device that has revolutionized the entire production paradigm.
The AG-HVX200 records HD, either 1080i or 720p video acquired by a new optical system and high-performance digital signal processor onto a P2 card using the broadcasting DVCPRO HD codec. This system achieves a level of image quality that conventional handheld HD cameras simply cannot match, while also supporting HD/SD multi-format and multi-codec recording capabilities.

Sony PMW-EX1

SONY PMW-EX1 XDCAM EX

The Sony PMW-EX1 XDCAM EX utilizes three newly designed 1/2-inch type "Exmor"™ CMOS sensors, each with an effective pixel count of 1920 x 1080. Coupled with newly developed signal processing, this camera produces truly exceptional images in 1080p, 720p and 1080i HD. Using another new Sony innovation, the SxS Memory Card flash memory device, very high data transfer speeds are also made possible in order to enhance the High Definition content creation workflow. Utilizing the MPEG-2 Long GOP CODEC to achieve a balance of quality and the required bit rate, you can now record approximately 140 minutes using two 16GB SxS Memory Cards in SP mode and 100 minutes in HQ mode. Panasonic AJ-HDC27FP Varicam

Sony CineAlta HDW-F900R

RED ONE

Now available through Schumacher Camera is the camera you have been hearing a buzz about throughout the production industry – the RED ONE!  This camera features the Mysterium Super 35mm cine sized (24.4 x 13.7mm) CMOS sensor (4520 x 2540 pixels) which captures outstanding progressive images at 4k (1 to 30fps), 3k (1 to 60fps), or 2k (1 to 120fps) resolution.  As a standard feature on the RED ONE, its PL lens mount allows you to use a vast array of cine lenses (with their depth of field qualities) for the ultimate in creative control.  Also available is the B4 (Sony) to PL lens mount adapter which will allow the use of all the HD lenses you have come to love (in 2k mode).  As for a recording medium, RED’s Compact Flash 8GB cards will record about 4 minutes of footage each at 4k resolution and the RED DRIVE (320GB RAID) will record between two and three hours of 4k REDCODE RAW footage.  Finally, its modular design and light weight allow it to be set up in multiple configurations whether it be as a remote, hand held or fully loaded studio camera.

P+S Technik Mini 35 Digital with Canon XL-1s

The P+S Technik Mini 35 Digital with Canon XL-1s is a hybrid camera system that bridges the worlds of film and digital video. Utilizing the popular Canon XL-1s Mini DV cam, the P+S Technik Mini 35 Digital adapter allows the use of 35mm format cinema lenses to capture images on a built-in ground glass located at the focal plane. The XL-1s in turn records the image from that ground glass. The result is an image that retains all the qualities of the 35mm lenses: same angle of view, same depth of field and full focal range. The system can be used in studio or hand held mode, utilizing most Arriflex style mechanical accessories (matte box, follow focus, etc.). Combined with the camera's 'movie mode' function, the result is amazingly film like.

Cine Magic International's Photo-Sonics 4ER+

The highest speed pin registered 35mm camera available anywhere. The camera features: the capability to operate from 6 to 425 frames per second, utilizing 12 pull down pins, 4 registration pins and a vacuum assisted gate; a flicker free, shuttered color CCD video assist; mid-shutter pulse for Unilux strobes; variable shutter adjustable from 5 to 50 in 5 degree increments and 50 to 120 in 10 degree increments and a swing over view finder system. Aaton A-Minima Super 16

The Aaton A-Minima is the lightest, most ergonomic Super 16mm reflex camera available. The A-Minima uses special 200 ft. B wound daylight rolls, meaning no changing bag needed.

Note: Camera will run 1-32 fps with approx. 1 hour run time using 4 internal 3v. lithium cells, and 1-50 fps using an external 12v battery.
